New and improved streamlined guest post process.
First up - What Journey Reader DOES NOT FEATURE: Book reviews. Unfortunately, I don't have enough time to invest in reading a cast amount of books. It's not that I don't want to be supportive. I have an extremely limited timeframe in which to write novels and blog. Any requests for book reviews will likely be ignored.
Nonfiction Books: Fiction titles only, please. Also no religion or politics.
Now to the good stuff.
Step One: I would greatly appreciate it if you would follow the Journey Reader blog and maybe @JourneyReader on Twitter. I like having people around. It helps me to feel that I'm not just tossing stuff out into cyberspace randomly with no readers. Thank you kindly.
Step Two: Pick a type of post
Author Interview: If you would like to do an author interview, please paste the following ten questions into a word document or in email and answer them, then email them to me. Also be sure to include any information you want in the post: Buy Links, URLs, bio, book cover image, picture of you (optional), book trailer link, book synopsis and anything else you want included. I will not chase down links, etc. I've spent enough hours of my life chasing down information. limit: one book per post
What inspires your stories?
What genre do you gravitate toward and why?
What are your work habits like?
What do you consider your best work?
Do you plot out your novels in advance or do you write on the fly?
What experience do you want for your readers?
Are any of your character traits or settings based on real life?
What are your most significant challenges when you write?
What are you currently working on?
Do you have any writing advice you would like to share with aspiring authors?
If you have different questions you would like to use, that's fine and dandy like sugar candy. Just shoot them on over.

Book Trailers : Embedded in a post (as long as that's an option with your particular video) Just email the link to your video and buy links, URLs, bio, book cover image, picture of you (optional), book trailer link, book synopsis and anything else you want included.
Excerpts (Hooks): The first 500-800 words of a book or story. Authors if you are not self-published, please get any permission you might need from your publisher BEFORE submitting the excerpt. Journey Reader is not responsible for any conflict with your publisher. Fiction Freebies: Title, author, synopsis, download or view link.
